COCO RAE | Concert report • Asking Alexandria

Yep, had my first concert of this year ^^ This was the line up: Chelsea Grin, Bless The Fall >> ASKING ALEXANDRIA! Fucking hell! It was great, i screamed my longs out! My sister gave me a ticket for christmas <3 So sweet! We went together ^^ Loved the Drop Dead shirt that the singer of Bless The Fall wore! The only disappointing thing was that AA played just a few songs. But here's a little impression. What do ya think...

MY LYRICS | You are everything to me!

I never thought i'd brake down my wall
the wall i've build to protect myself from harm
i never thought i could trust again
but you showed me the way.

Even though the wall was so high
you helped me brick by brick
even when i tried to push you away
you always stayed.

You made me believe again
made me trust again
showed me how to fight my fears
you helped me, even through those hard times.

You showed me what love is all about
you made my heart skip beat...
you are everything to me
you are the one that got me through.

You are the friend i needed most
you are the one that'll stick by me forever
and i'll never leave your side.

I'll be yours forever, and you'll be mine...

INSPIRATION | Azzedine Alaïa

On the 11th of December 2011, the Groninger Museum, in the Netherlands, opened an exhibition entitled Alaïa - Azzedine Alaïa in the 21st century. This exhibition displays the most fantastic Alaïa fashion creations of the last ten years. Each room in the exhibition will focus on a different material that Azzedine Alaïa has consistently used over the past decade: velvet, fur, wool, leather, cotton, animal skins, chiffon and knitwear.

Azzedine Alaïa is one of the last major living couturiers. The exhibition focuses on Alaïa’s work in the 21st Century. It is the sequel to the presentation of his designs from previous decades, also shown at the Groninger Museum in 1997-1998, and which subsequently travelled to the Brant Foundation, Guggenheim Soho in New York in 2000. Tunisian-born Azzedine Alaïa is one of the most important fashion designers of the last decades. The name Alaïa stands for glamour, sensuality, style, cut, self-confidence, comfort, and of course, sex appeal. His tight dresses embrace the bodies of the world’s most seductive and successful women. Love his work! Really wanna visit the exhibition! What do ya think...
